Under the theme “Harmony of Knowledge: Dialogues Between the Sacred, Science, and the Human,” this event brings together leading experts to discuss the significance of the individual. The program integrates insights from contemporary science and ancestral wisdom, offering a profound and unified vision of the human condition in all its dimensions: physical, mental, and spiritual.

How can we engage in intercultural encounters in a genuinely dialogical, respectful, and holistic way? This conference explores the fundamental tensions and pitfalls at the contemporary intersection of modern science and Indigenous worldviews. We will analyze the importance of cultivating epistemic hospitality—a radical openness to diverse “ways of knowing”—that involves both the critical rigor of the Western researcher and the experiential depth of the ancestral sage. Given the historical asymmetry of this encounter, it becomes imperative for the West to learn to navigate risks such as epistemic colonialism and the subtle boundary of cultural/spiritual appropriation. When we address these challenges with awareness and ethical commitment, obstacles are transformed into bridges toward more integrated knowledge and, crucially, into vehicles for healing historical and intercultural wounds. By inhabiting this threshold with humility, we allow both knowledge and encounter to cease being conquests and become the medicine of our shared humanity.
To explore compassion as an essential practice in the Buddhist tradition and as a path to cultivating inner harmony and more meaningful human connections. This talk aims to inspire the integration of compassion into daily life as a bridge between the sacred and shared experience.
Reflecting on love and justice as sacred principles that guide human life toward harmony and ethical coexistence. This presentation aims to demonstrate how, within the Islamic tradition, these values can engage with science and contemporary experience to strengthen unity and respect among people.
Between being and becoming, Transpersonal Psychology recognizes the existence of a fundamental enigma: the mystery of origin that underpins all human experience. This presentation proposes a profound exploration of the ego’s journey. It will address crises as thresholds of transformation, the dialogue between science and superscience, and the notion of a universal consciousness that underlies individual experience. Through the passage of transgenerational fractals, traumas, and implicit memories, the past can be reinterpreted, allowing access to the instant of the eternal present as an experience of integration.
Specific Objective: To investigate how rites of passage and healing ceremonies from Indigenous cultures can provide therapeutic and personal development tools in contemporary contexts.
Specific Objective: To explore in depth the traditional use of master plants, their effects on expanded states of consciousness, and their potential ethical integration into transpersonal therapeutic frameworks.
A comprehensive look at the contributions of psychology and ancestral traditions to our understanding of mental health, highlighting their common ground and their value in enriching therapeutic practice from an intercultural and transpersonal perspective.
To explore how Sumak Kawsay (Good Living) and transpersonal psychology intersect to broaden our understanding of the human condition. This presentation proposes an intercultural and spiritual dialogue that inspires more ethical, fulfilling, and sustainable psychological practices.
Specific Objective: To highlight the wisdom of indigenous cultures regarding their interconnectedness with nature and its relevance to deep ecology and mental health.
Specific Objective: To distinguish between psychological emergencies and psychiatric disorders, and to propose models of support for crises of spiritual transformation.
Specific Objective: To explore the personal and professional journey of a psychologist trained within the orthodox frameworks of psychology who, after achieving personal and professional maturity, experiences an opening toward the spiritual and transcendent dimension of the human being.
Specific Objective: To explore how spiritual practices can be integrated into daily life to foster resilience and emotional balance.
Specific Objective: The transpersonal triad, Consciousness-Love-Life, corresponds to the transcendent dimension of the three basic human centers (Intellect-Heart-Instinct). It allows for multiple formulations (the author of this paper has compiled up to 35), enabling the identification of common obstacles in psychospiritual development (unconsciousness, egocentrism, dissociation) and providing guidance on how to address them in therapeutic accompaniment.
Specific Objective:
Anxiety is the most prevalent psychological condition worldwide so far in the 21st century. This talk presents some findings and achievements from my experience as a transpersonal psychotherapist in treating people with anxiety, where the conscious practice of breathing plays a fundamental role.
Specific Objective: To analyze how conscious and spontaneous movement can be a powerful tool for expressing the unconscious and integrating experience.
This presentation explores gestation, birth, and delivery as profoundly transpersonal processes where the biological, psychological, and sacred converge. It seeks to highlight how these experiences, understood from an expanded consciousness perspective, can influence the development of the human being, their connection to life, and their relationship with the transcendent. Furthermore, it proposes integrating scientific, ancestral, and spiritual perspectives to reframe the beginning of existence as a sacred and transformative event.
Specific Objective: To demonstrate how bioenergetic practices can access cellular memory and facilitate the release of repressed tensions and emotions.
Specific Objective: To investigate the therapeutic power of sound and vibration in modulating states of consciousness and energy healing.
Specific objective: This paper explores the artist as a sacred archetype and mediator between the visible and the invisible. Drawing on archetypal psychology, the transpersonal perspective, and visionary art, it argues that art not only produces aesthetics but also translates inner experiences into collective symbols, making the artist an educator of the soul and a witness to human transcendence.
Specific Objective: To analyze the application of universal archetypes and myths in art therapy to facilitate an understanding of deep psychological processes.
Specific Objective: To demonstrate the power of voice and symbolic language to accommodate spiritual experiences and facilitate psychological integration.
This presentation explores the role of music as a universal language connecting the human with the sacred, integrating scientific, spiritual, and transpersonal perspectives. It seeks to demonstrate how sound, rhythm, and vibration impact consciousness, healing, and the experience of unity, offering a space for reflection and experience of music as a tool for transformation and inner expansion.
This presentation aims to deepen our understanding of music as a universal and transpersonal language capable of opening portals to the sacred, fostering experiences of transcendence, communion, and a sense of unity. Through dialogue between spiritual traditions, ancestral knowledge, and contemporary perspectives, the presentation seeks to demonstrate how vibration and sound allow human beings to connect with broader dimensions of consciousness, recognizing music as a path to encountering the divine and the transcendent.
Exploring meditation as an integrative path to self-knowledge and inner transformation, highlighting its potential to harmonize spiritual, psychological, and bodily dimensions of the human being, in dialogue with scientific perspectives and sacred knowledge that support deep inner work.
Specific Objective: To present how ecopsychology integrates transpersonal principles to address the dissociation between human beings and the natural world.
Reflecting on the place we inhabit as an ecosystemic and relational experience that fosters rootedness, belonging, and a spiritual experience of interconnection.
Specific Objective: To propose an ethical framework based on interdependence and compassion, applicable to the relationship with nature and future generations.
